Cookie Policy

How QodeInvent uses cookies and similar technologies on qodeinvent.com. Read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle your personal information.

By using our Site, you can choose whether to accept or decline non-essential cookies through the cookie banner presented when you first visit. You can change your preference at any time using the methods described in §5 below.

§ 01

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website owner about how the site is used.

Cookies can be "session cookies," which are deleted when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies," which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them. Cookies can also be set by us directly ("first-party cookies") or by a third party whose service we use, such as our analytics provider ("third-party cookies").

§ 02

How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for two purposes on this Site: to make the Site function correctly, and to understand how visitors use it so we can improve it.

2.1 · Strictly Necessary no consent required

These cookies are essential for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as setting your cookie consent preferences. These cookies do not store any personally identifiable information and do not require your consent under applicable law, since the Site cannot function correctly without them.

2.2 · Analytics consent required

These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources, so we can measure and improve the performance of our Site. They help us understand which pages are most and least popular and how visitors move around the Site. We currently use Google Analytics for this purpose.

These cookies are only set if you accept them through our cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics will not load and no analytics cookies will be set on your device.

2.3 · What We Do Not Use

We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies, including tools like the Meta/Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar third-party advertising trackers. If this changes in the future, this policy and our cookie banner will be updated accordingly before any such cookies are deployed.

§ 03

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our Site are set by third-party services we use, currently limited to Google Analytics. These third parties may use the information collected through cookies for their own purposes, in addition to providing services to us, subject to their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy for more detail on how Google handles data collected through Analytics.

If you book a call through Calendly, or interact with other embedded third-party tools on our Site in the future, those tools may set their own cookies governed by their own cookie and privacy policies, separate from this one.

§ 04

Your Cookie Choices

When you first visit our Site, you will see a cookie banner allowing you to:

  • Accept all cookies, including analytics cookies
  • Reject non-essential cookies, allowing only strictly necessary cookies to be set
  • Manage preferences, allowing you to choose specific categories of cookies individually

Declining analytics cookies will not affect your ability to browse the Site, view our services, or contact us. It only limits the data we collect about how you use the Site.

§ 05

How to Change or Withdraw Your Consent

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by:

  • Reopening the cookie preference panel, available via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of every page
  • Clearing cookies through your browser settings, which will reset your preference and show the cookie banner again on your next visit

You can also control cookies more broadly through your browser settings, including blocking all cookies or being notified when a cookie is set. Note that blocking all cookies, including strictly necessary ones, may affect the functionality of this and other websites.

Guidance on managing cookies is available directly through most browsers:

  • Google Chromechrome://settings/cookies
  • Mozilla Firefox — Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari — Preferences > Privacy
  • Microsoft Edge — Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions
§ 06

Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post any changes on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. If the categories of cookies we use change materially, we will prompt you to review your cookie preferences again.

§ 07
